Our carefully designed property offers the perfect sanctuary for a restful escape, ensuring a tranquil experience amidst the beauty of the outdoors. Nestled in a secluded location only 25-minutes from Manuel Antonio and Quepos, we are surrounded by rainforest and just steps away from the Naranjo River - an ideal setting for those seeking a serene getaway.

Glamping & Nature Immersion

At Chorro Ecolodge, you will be ‘glamping’ in style in our thoughtfully appointed luxury safari-style tents.

Enjoy spectacular mountain and river views, excellent birding, nature hikes, yoga, waterfalls & immense natural beauty.

Light up the fire pit at night, swing in hammocks or practice yoga on the deck.

Chorro Ecolodge is small and intimate, offering four luxury safari-style tents. Two tents sleep up to four people, and two accommodate up to six people. All tents feature electricity with ample outlets, ceiling fans, and deliciously comfortable beds and linens. Larger tents also have a mini fridge & coffee maker.

Each tent has its own private bathroom just steps away. Bathrooms are equipped with hot water open-air yet private showers, eco-friendly sawdust compostable toilets, and biodegradable bath products.

Chorro Ecolodge also offers a fully functioning common kitchen area, elevated teak open-air yoga platform, fire circle pit, and waterfall on site.

All rocks used for building trails and platforms were brought up from the river and placed with care, and all furniture is made from recycled pallets.

We host private retreats for up to 20 participants.

Cell service is spotty, and internet is jungle internet (it works, but it can be slow), so take care of your business before you arrive and enjoy a very necessary digital detox!

What About Food?

Bring your own food to prepare meals in our fully equipped kitchen, or for a unique cultural experience, walk up to our friendly neighbor’s house for authentic Costa Rican food cooked over a wood-burning stove.

Doña Luz is a welcoming host and will prepare delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We are a Tico, a Gringa, and our two ‘Tingo” children.

Our family project has been years in the making and is a great way to spend quality time in nature with friends and loved ones. This is a great overnight getaway for couples, families, and friends.
